How To Get Started With WPCD.Cloud

Introduction

To get started with WPCD.Cloud, you first need to sign up for an account.  If you’re reading this and haven’t done so yet, now’s a good time to go ahead and take that step!
You will then receive an email with the links to your WPCD.Cloud Control Panel and your credentials.  That email message will look something like this:
 
Click on the link titled CLICK HERE TO LOGIN and you’ll be taken to the login page for your new control panel.

Connecting To Your Server Provider

Once you are logged in, you will see a setup wizard prompt at the very top of the screen.  If your server provider is any one of the following you can use it to quickly configure your account:
  • DigitalOcean
  • Linode (Akamai)
  • Vultr
  • UpCloud
  • Hetzner

To continue using the wizard, just click the green CLICK HERE TO GET STARTED NOW button and you’ll be taken to the first screen.
 
 
There is nothing to do on this first screen since we’ve taken care of this configuration item for you.  Just click the green CONTINUE button.
 
On the next screen you will be asked to choose a server provider from the list. If you’re using a free account, your only option will be DigitalOcean.  For premium accounts you’ll see more options.
 
Select a provider and click the green CONTINUE button to move to the next step.
 
You will then be asked to enter your API credentials.  You can get this from your account area at your provider – most providers only provide a single token though some can be more complex.  Regardless, get the information from your server provider and enter it on this screen.  Then click the green CONTINUE button again to move on.
 
Next, you will be prompted to create an SSH key-pair.  Just click the green CONTINUE button again to make that happen and move to the next step.
 
At this point your account is ready and you can click the green button to head over to the server list.
